GOOD SIGN WHEN VIETNAM’S EXPORTS GROW STRONGLY IN 2022

According to the latest information from the GSO, for the first half of 2022, export turnover accounted for more than 710 million USD compared to the total import turnover of both reached 317.17 billion USD.

It can be seen that recently, import and export businesses have begun to recover from many difficulties and try to grow stronger. These businesses take advantage of the market’s supply imbalance to reach and explore many other niche markets. They are pursuing a strategy of taking advantage of FTAs to address any logistical difficulties and supply shortages.

According to the most recent statistics, in the first half of 2022, the leading country in exporting Vietnam’s turnover is the United States, estimated at about 55.9 billion USD. Besides, China is Vietnam’s largest import market with an estimated turnover of 61.3 billion USD.

Trade surplus to the EU was estimated at 15.5 billion USD, up 39% over the same period last year; trade deficit from China is 35 billion USD, up 21.7%; trade deficit from Korea 21.1 billion USD, up 39.5%; trade deficit from ASEAN was 6.5 billion USD, down 10.9%; trade deficit from Japan is 463 million USD, down 39.9%.

Through the above data, it can be seen that Vietnam is trying very hard to keep a good relationship with these potential markets. Hopefully, in the coming time, the market trend will continue to consolidate and grow rapidly.
